Privacy and storage choices
A clear account of what this site stores and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible
Nordic Energy Pulse is an independent price viewer operated by Ville Räsänen, a private individual based in Finland. For any privacy or service question, write to vrasanen@live.com.
Browser storage and consent
The site uses browser storage rather than advertising cookies. Preference storage is optional and is used only after you allow it.
- Necessary: your consent choice, so the site remembers whether optional preference storage is allowed.
- Optional preferences: language, selected price area, currency mode, price view (VAT, resolution), and your own price add-ons (grid fee and contract margin). These stay on your device and are not used to profile you.
These choices remain until you change them, clear your browser data, or the browser removes them. Choosing Necessary only removes optional saved preferences.
Data sources and technical records
Your browser receives the site from its hosting provider. Electricity prices and exchange rates are fetched by Nordic Energy Pulse from the public sources named on the About page; those providers are not contacted directly by your browser.
The hosting provider may process routine technical records such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information, and error details for security and reliable operation.
Nordic Energy Pulse does not use advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, user accounts, or sell personal data.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw preference consent at any time through Privacy settings in the footer. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser. For privacy requests, contact Ville Räsänen at vrasanen@live.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
